Education research:  applying advanced communications technologies

         Use technology to provide educational content more effectively to:

             Current undergraduate and graduate students

             “Tidal Wave II”

             Working professionals

        Primary goals:

             Serve as a UC center for developing, applying teaching/learning technologies

             Deliver online and wireless courses

             Assess the efficacy of these delivery methods in student learning

             Use Cal-(IT)2 research advances in communications technologies to improve delivery of educational content
